缓释肥就是一种用特殊膜材料包起来的颗粒肥料，能缓缓释放有效成分。通常使用一次可以在3-6个月内不需再施肥。

常用的有“Miracle-Gro Shake 'n Feed Slow Release Plant Food ” （3个月）和 "smartcote feed and forget" (6个月）。
