Stochastic Oscillator IndicatorThe stochastic oscillator provides information about the location of a current close in relation to the period's high and low. It ranges between 0% and 100%. A reading of 0% indicates that the close was the lowest price at which the security traded during the preceding x number of time periods. A reading of 100% indicates that the close was the highest price at which the security traded during the preceding x number of time periods.

STO指标其实就是一个震荡约束器，这个指标的数值永远在0-100之间波动，衡量指定时间内（N根蜡烛图）收盘价的动量。


一般使用STO指标采用（5，3，3）或者（14，3，3）两组参数，后者相比前者虚假信号更少。指标框当中往往用20以及80这两个水平位置作为超卖和超买的衡量标准。

当随机指标突破80(图中红色虚线)，这意味着市场处于超买。当随即指标跌破20(图中蓝色虚线)，这意味着市场处于超卖。
