A major new public concert at the foot of Mount Royal
For Montréal's 375th and Canada's 150th, our three major Montréal orchestras' the McGill Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Métropolitain and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal will be coming together to celebrate this historic moment at the foot of our iconic Mount Royal. This concept show, created and produced by GSI Musique and directed by Simon Leclerc, will feature more than 400 musicians, pop artists and choral singers who promise to dazzle our eyes and ears and make our spirits soar.
This one-of-a-kind evening is an invitation to people of all backgrounds who love Montréal to come soak up popular songs, accompanied by the beautiful sounds of a symphony orchestra and performed by artists we love. With seasons as the theme, a series of tableaux will evoke the city, its inhabitants, its history, its landmarks and its vibrant personality. Special projections will create an intimate ambiance as we move through the four seasons that set the city's tempo, with an imaginary fifth as a finale: an invitation to dream about the future of Montréal together.
